Almost Perfect
I bought my case around a month ago and I love it! The only issue I have with it is that the case already has a crack on the back from me dropping it. But at least it’s the case that’s cracked and not my phone

Horrible
This case was just horrible. The rubber around it has already stated peeling. I’ve been a satisfied customer of lifeproof for years. Don’t think I will be purchasing another after this one gives out.

On the 13th birthday!
Bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. Gave it to her as one of her gifts and it didn't fit or work properly on her Iphone 8. Had to return it!

It made it less than a year...
I just bought the same case for the second time in a year. My daughter likes the case and is happy with its features. Sadly, the the green-blue rubber gasket that goes around the outer rim of the case just disconnected one day. Then it started coming off of the way around the case. I honestly did not want to pay for this case again. I have had otter boxes that have lasted for three year, but my daughter does not like any of the otter boxes that have the same features - she also loves her pop sockets. This will be my last purchase of this case- especially if it starts coming apart in less than a year. That is my only complaint is that with minimal use it did not even last a year : (

Durable but lacking functionality
Generally I have been an avid life proof from the day I got my first iPhone in 2012 to today. This is the first case I have not liked. Most upgrades/updates are great, this is not.
Instead of a switch that sticks out for the mute/unmute switch it is now a toggle? The switch is insert into the case (for protection?) yet hard to access. My fiancé and his “man fingers” can not turn it. Second it is quite difficult to lock onto the physical switch of the iPhone so takes quite a bit to line up(if it even works).
The cover for the charging port is made from the same rubber around the case. It’s quite hard to get open and seems like it will break as the original cases used to. The rubber will get worn down and rip at the point of opening and at the small point it connects to the phone.
I also picked the green case but now have a red phone which can be seen through the clear case. Let’s see if I’m this return process (due to a mangled mute toggle) if can get a new color or a old version of the case.

These things break or fail! Almost everyone time
I love these cases because they work for me! That being said I have had to buy four or five of these cases because something keeps breaking on them. For the price that these guys charge these cases should last a long long time which they are not! These are ht emost likeable cases I have found but once again everyone that I have owned has broken within 6 months and I have to go buy another one for close to $100 Bucks! I guess these are considered a rip off when you consider what has happened in my experiences! If you can handle a different brand I would go that direction because these keep on breaking left and right. It's a joke!
For the cost of these cases they are ridiculous! All they do is break!

Does the case break apart for the phone to be put in and then snap back together? Just got it and I’m trying to put my phone in the case but can’t it and don’t want to break the case
