Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life in a factory Without a case, my phone got pretty destroyed working in a factory. This phone case keeps my phone crack free. We spray the machines down at work with water and the case prevents water from going in and damaging the phone. It still fits inside my pocket. All the touch features work. I cannot find anything that would change my review to 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from rugged and functional This is my second lifeproof for the google pixel 2, my other one is still on my phone, lost somewhere in the snow on Soda mountain. Case functionality is great. My phone takes lots of abuse in the outdoors and it gives me the peace of mind that my will not break, no matter the activity. Only critique is the camera cut outs and sensor cut outs fill up with dust which affects the picture quality. This can be quickly resolved with a cloth or q tip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second Case I bought this case over a year ago and was so pleased with it!, I had to purchase another when the charging jack would no longer stay closed. As a klutz, I don't have to worry when I drop my phone. No need for a protective screen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's okay, I guess I bought this about three weeks ago and so far I'm not impressed with it at all! The case is self seems very sturdy! But it has allot of down falls for being really sturdy! The screen protector on the front is okay, but they put a really weird plastic on the back over the fingerprint button and it literally feels like plastic wrap!!! They put this same film over the speakers too!!!! This is by far the biggest down fall of the case, this film KILLS your audio quality!!!! I have to turn my phone all the way up to even hear it!!! It's awful to be on the phone now because if there is next to any background noise at all, then its extremely hard to hear. This goes both ways it's very hard for the person on the other side of the phone to hear me also I have to speak very loud now! Not to mention sense I have to turn my phone all the way up, now the film it self rattels and makes a weird annoying noise! If you are getting this case and your going to be around water allot or your very hard on your phone then this might be the case for you. But if you just want a case that looks nice and you don't beat up your phone then I would seguest you buy another case! Especially since the price of this case is so high!!!! Not a big fan....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from definitely a tough shield but I can't hear it ring Can't say I punished my new phone in my new life proof case to test it out, but I get the feeling it would protect it from some pretty hard conditions including water and drops from roof top heights. I will use the case on my serious adventures like hiking, camping, kayaking - but there's a big reason I can't use it everyday: it comes close to muting the sound of the phone while ringing and it also make hearing conversations difficult - has something to do with the case covering the speakers of my pixel 2.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Highly protective but impairs sound quality So far the case seems sturdy and protective, but I have had problems with sound quality, specifically that my voice is hard to understand when I make calls. On one occasion I had to take my phone out of the case before I could use a voice-recognition call center for one of my credit cards. I'm saying "yes" on the recommendation, but that is only because I'm not aware of a similarly protective Pixel 2 case with better sound performance. I might add that my daughter has a LifeProof case for her iPhone that has no discernible sound issues at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok I had an iPhone with a LifeProof case before switching to the pixel. I liked it alot more. Seems like LifeProof tried harder on their iPhone and Galaxy development. This case has some slack in the film covering over the fingerprint scanner. If you have any moisture on your fingertip (read "if you live in the east with 100% humidity), the film sticks to you. I just worry that it will tear. The case also just feels cheaper than the case I had for my iPhone. Maybe wait a few iterations to buy this item for the pixel 2. I do think it protects my phone. I haven't dropped it or submerged it yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly good with a little bad I recently got a brand new phone and a brand new case, I'm loving the phone, and the case is a great product, it doesn't make the phone overly bulky and it slides easily in and out of my pocket(which was a worry I had about any case I got). I love the colors, green is my favorite color and there just aren't enough cases that I feel were good looking like this one. The only real problem I've had with this case so far is that when I'm watching videos, the sound produces a rattle, I'm assuming in the part that covers the speaker. I knew the sound would be slightly muffled due to a water sealed case but it really wasn't that bad and I got used to it quickly, but lately, no matter what volume level, there is a rattle or buzz from the sound vibrating the case that is very distracting. This (so far) is the only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars and recommending it to others.
