Don’t buy it for Gen 6
This case may or may not work well with the pro model but does not line up with the gen 6 camera lens. However, it does fit in the case for protection and the other buttons do function with the case on. I tried to realign the pad a few times but with no success. Using the pad for navigation & document storage on sailboat so real concerned about photo functionality. Would be nice though!

I bought this product primarily for its dust/water proof design and have bought 5 other Life Proof Nüüd cases for my iPhones and iPads since 2012 and loved them. I currently bought an iPad 2018 and discovered that you no longer offer a case for iPads except for the Pro models. After doing some research it seemed that the iPad Pro 9.7 case would work but the back camera lens window would be slightly offset of the camera lens. Since I don’t use the camera much on iPads I concluded that I could give up that feature to get the protection of the Nüüd case. After receiving the case I discovered that there is a difference in thickness between the iPad Pro 9.7 and the iPad 2018 which is thicker. Thank you for letting me return the case but I’m extremely disappointed that you no longer sell a case for regular iPads. I don’t know your reasoning for dropping the cases for regular iPads you’ve lost a loyal customer.

When I put my iPad into the lifeproof I noticed at the upper left where there is a rubber seal, it doesn’t seal as good as the rest of the unit. There could be possible leakage, should be a snat at that point on both sides. Something needs to change.

Do you have a case to fit the iPad 5th Generation? An associate at the apple store told me this case would work since both devices are 9.7 inch.

Although the devices may be similar in size, specific features on each could differ enough to impact the waterproof technology. No, the LifeProof NÜÜD for the iPad Pro 9.7 inch is specifically designed for that device, and unfortunately only fits that iPad. Currently, we do not carry a case that is compatible with the iPad Air 2, but we are happy to pass your feedback along!
