Me and my frIends family recently went on a weekend trip to Utah for a family reunion. The day after we got there, we went on a hike to cascade springs with Some of the family there. If You have e been there, there is a small ledge You can climb on to get on top of the waterfall and inside a cave. Being a teenage girl, i didnt want to leave my phone so i kept it in my back pocket. Bad mistake. As soon as i got onto the Top of the fall, my phone slipped out of my back pocket. I stood in terror watching it float along with the water, then over the edge of the waterfall. Just so you know, that's a good 10 foot drop. Thank goodness, I am known for accidentally destroying phones, so my mom Bought me this case to protect my new iphone 5s from my harm. Instantly I climbed down to the bottom of the waterfall, and started search for my phone. MY friend, family members, and several other people came down to search too. We Looked all over the fall, getting soaked with 60°F water. After about 15-20 minutes, i figured the phone was gone. But Right when i was walking out, ready to go, my friends Uncle reached into a tiny spot of water, and pulled out my phone. It still completely worked, no screen was cracked, and the case only had a few scratches on the front. This phone survived a 10 foot drop and 20 minutes submerged in rough water.
I am writing this review with my phone now and i cant explain how Grateful i am for this case. Its totally worth the cost. Thank you Lifeproof for this case of the gods.
