I run, bike, swim, rock climb, and workout so needless to say I need a case that will protect my iPod.
Ever since I saw the Lifeproof for the iPhone a coupel years ago, I immediatly began saving for the case if it ever came out for the iPod Touch 4th gen. I stumbled in to my local Best Buy, saw it on the rack and wept tears of joy (not literally orf course..) and bought it. It's been wonderful ever since.
Some of the things I like about it:
Slim and smooth, yet "grippable" enough for runs.
The clear backing is a nice Touch (get it?).
The homebutton is so much more satisfying to press.
The headphone extension makes it that much harder for sweat to drip down the cord to the 3mm. port.
The bad stuff..
The speaker sounds like it's in a box.. which makes sense I guess. Though you could argue that it amplifies sound, it doesn't sound too great.
The included lanyard has yet to find a reason to swing from my iPod.
They don't offer a white front face for the case.. Yet. ;)
The armband they make is not compatible with it (from what I can tell)
For now, this is all I have. As I continue to use it I will edit the review to reflect my experiances with the case.
So far so good Lifeproof :)
